Brooke Hamlin-Lopez is the Family Support Specialist for the Transitional Housing program in the Garden City office. Her focus is on the case management side of the program, making weekly contact with each participant and helping them to secure other services as needed, including drug and alcohol counseling, support from the Department of Children and Family Services, marriage counseling, and more. Brooke is also a qualified counselor for the Kansas Benefit Bank, and brings her bilingual skills to the program. Prior to her position at Catholic Charities, she was employed as a juvenile intensive supervision officer. She received her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Fort Hays University in 2015. A lifelong resident of Garden City, Brooke is married and has one son.
